Yes, it's been more than a wee while since I posted anything on this blog, but I've been busy researching and developing a new sister web site to Kindred Ancestry. Those of you who've perused earlier comments on this blog will have detected an Irish flavour to many of them, Irish family history being a particular personal and professional speciality of mine.
I realised that I had hundreds of bookmarks for my favourite research sites but frequently found myself having those WWILF moments (you know "What Was I Looking For ...?!") when I was tackling some research methodically. What I needed was somewhere online that I could organise and access all my favourite resources better. Hence, Irish Geneaography was born. Yes, I know it's a completely made up word, but I like it as it also sums up one of my other big ideas about better family history research online i.e. using maps to help search for evidence. The new site is by no means a realisation of this dream yet, but I hope you'll find lots there to interest you and help with your own Irish research.
